Creflo Dollar: Heaven Bound

Creflo Dollar

Heaven Bound - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar MinistriesIs God real? What about Satan? Is Heaven a literal place of existence? What about Hell? Everyday millions of people ponder these same questions. Struggling to gain truth of this matter is a reality for Believers and unbelievers alike. Millions of people believe life ends at death. They’ve concluded that death means sleeping and existing in a state of nothingness. However, the reality according to God’s Word is the grave is not the end!

As humans, we’re born into this physical world. We’re educated in this physical world, and therefore we only understand the things of this world. However, physical training does not equip us with the ability to comprehend spiritual things like the reality of life after death.

In order to understand this complex topic we must explore and understand the anatomy of man. Man is a spirit being—he doesn’t have a spirit, he is a spirit. He possesses a soul, where his emotions and intellect reside; and he lives in a physical body.

Because we live in a physical world, we’ve been trained to believe the physical body we see is our entire existence, but that’s untrue. The spirit of man is eternal—it lives forever. When we die, our spirit and soul separates from our physical body. Once that happens, we separate from the physical world, and are immediately born into the spirit world, where our spirit and soul will live forever.

Heaven, Hell, angels, and demons exist in the spirit realm, and when we depart from this physical realm and enter the spiritual realm, we will see the reality of this truth. The Bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. However this is only true for the person who is born again. For the person who is not born again, being absent from the body is to be present in Hell.

So what happens to the person who refuses to accept this truth, and dies having been bewitched by the world into thinking that Heaven and Hell aren’t real? The harsh reality of their self—made reservation to Hell will quickly set in, and the truth they’ve heard and rejected will torment them for eternity. Don’t let this happen to you!

I urge you to decide to make Jesus the Lord of your life now! Don’t allow another day to pass without knowing with certainty that you’re Heaven bound. Now is the acceptable time. You can be born again right now, wherever you are, by realizing and admitting that you are a sinner. Repent and ask God to forgive your sins; change your heart, your mind, and your direction. Then, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Once you complete these simple steps you’re saved and on your way to Heaven. Get connected to a Bible—based church, and allow the power of God to transform your life. You’ll be glad you did!

Dr. Creflo Dollar: Do All Religions Lead to God?

Do All Religions Lead to God? - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar MinistriesChristianity, Scientology, Buddhism, Hinduism, Calvinism, Mormonism, Islam, what’s the difference? With great sensitivity, I embark on answering the age—old question many have pondered for centuries—Do all religions lead to God? As a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, most of the world already knows my stance on this subject. Yet in this article my aim is not to bombard you with my personal thoughts, but rather give you information to consider if you or someone you know is struggling for a conclusion on this matter.

Rick Warren, a pastor and best—selling Christian author, offers an interesting interpretation to this highly debated inquiry. In response to the question, Do all religions lead to God, Warren answers: “Can I go into a phone booth and dial any phone number and get home? No, there’s only one number that’ll get me home. I could be sincere, but I could be sincerely wrong. The truth is, all roads don’t lead to Rome and all roads and all religions don’t lead to God“.

What a powerful statement! For those of you who need a reason to believe the Word, this statement will most certainly give you one. Although somewhat simplistic, Warren’s statement accurately supports the factuality of there being a solitary way to connect with God.

So how does one decide what’s the way to God? Should he or she research what religion has the best philosophies, or compare each religion to see which one makes the most sense? While some of my more theologically—inclined colleagues might applaud you for such efforts, I believe such research will subject you to the reasonings of men, and ultimately lead you away from the truth.

You connect with God by faith, not reasoning, which is why many people find it hard to understand me or accept my style of teaching. I don’t reason with the Bible, I just believe it. No one else in history, besides Jesus, died an agonizing death so I could be spared from Hell’s fire. Mohammad, Buddha, or the Dalai Lama did not give their life for me, so why should I follow them?

The one thing I want you to get out of this article is an understanding that Heaven is real, and so is Hell; when we die, we’re going to one or the other. So it’s time to stop the endless debates, and listen to Jesus—the only One who has died, went to Hell, and came back to tell about it! If you’re reading this article, I urge you to open your heart and let Jesus in. He’ll give you answers you’ve desired. Receive Him today, and allow Him to prove Himself to you; not because He has to, but because He loves you.

Creflo Dollar: Kids and the Web

Kids and the Web - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar MinistriesWe’re vastly approaching a crucial era where everyone, especially our future doctors, lawyers, and CEO’s must become computer literate. Failure to do so could cost them opportunities and diminish their capacity to fulfill their future professional aspirations. Although modern technology, such as the Internet, expands their ability to increase in knowledge, it also intensifies their propensity to become victims of computer—sex crimes. Because of the growing online community of children, the Internet has literally become a haven for predators seeking children for criminal purposes. Nevertheless, you can drastically minimize your children’s potential risks by taking responsibility for their online usage.

The Internet has become a common part of almost every child’s environment. Whether at home, school, or the public library, an excess of 77 million children are online every day (Internet Crimes Against Children, U.S. Department of Justice Office of Victims of Crimes). Therefore, it’s imperative to educate yourself and your children about the risk factors. Since children are naturally curious, making certain they recognize and understand the potential dangers of the Web dramatically increases their safety (A Parent’s Guide to Internet Safety, FBI). You cannot afford to be silent. Talk to your children about the great resource the Internet can be, as well as the dangers they may encounter online. Ensure they’re aware that online sex offenders can be any age or gender, and target boys and girls of all ages.

SafeKids.com recommends establishing a family contract for online safety, which includes a detailed list of pledges children and parents agree to abide by when using the Web. They recommend signing the contract and posting it near the computer.

As parents, be aware of, and recognize the warning signs for your child being at risk online. According to the aforementioned FBI study, your child may be at risk if he or she spends large amounts of time on the Internet, especially at night. If you notice your child becoming withdrawn, turning off the monitor off quickly, or changing the monitor’s screen when you enter the room, it may be time to investigate their online activity. Don’t be afraid to express your suspicions. Review your child’s computer and Web sites visited, making them aware of why you’re doing so.

The best method of protection is prevention. As we aspire to raise a generation of computer—literate scholars, it’s important that we use wisdom to assist children in reaching their intended destination safely.

I love you and encourage you to take this article to heart. Research and educate yourself on the best ways to protect the gifts God has given you—your children. I pray God’s wisdom and peace leads, guides, and directs you in everything you do.

Creflo Dollar: Changing, Growing, Becoming!

Changing, Growing, Becoming! - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar MinistriesI came across a quote today that profoundly impacted me. The quote, from Charles Dubois, epitomizes the life of a Christian. It says, “The most important thing is this: To be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become.” Wow! I can’t think of a better quote that precisely and insightfully captures the true calling of Christianity.

Are you willing to sacrifice what you are now, in order to become what God has called you to be? If you’re a Christian, this is a question you need to honestly ask yourself. If your answer is no, you’ll remain stagnant in your current state—never experiencing the result of change or the beauty of growth.

For a born—again Christian, change is a necessary and perpetual facet of life. In order to become everything God has called us to be, not only do we have to embrace change, we have to learn to love it. God makes masterpieces on the canvas of our lives; and everyday we have the opportunity to work with Him in creating a work of art. By the leading of His Spirit, we must be willing to make the necessary adjustments so God can continue the work He started in us.

Do you know what happens to a person who becomes so complacent in their current existence they refuse to change? They never grow, and in extreme cases, they live their entire life with unfulfilled greatness. Don’t let that be your story!

Jesus was a great example of what it means to sacrifice what we are, for what we can become. He embodied change, and allowed His entire life to be a sacrifice. As a result, He now sits at the right hand of the Father. Notice, however, what He ultimately achieved began with His willingness to lay down all for God’s will.

Just think, if Jesus hadn’t willingly sacrificed His life, you and I would not have unrestricted access to the Father. I don’t know about you, but the sacrifice Jesus made motivates me to sacrifice what I am, so I can grow and become what God has destined me to be.

Do you really want to grow into the person God’s called you to be? Because if you do, then change is the order of business! Don’t be consumed with what you are right now; submit your life to God as a sacrifice, and focus on what you will become.

The Blueprint for a Changed Life!

The Blueprint for a Changed Life! - Creflo Dollar - Creflo Dollar Ministriesby: Dr. Creflo Dollar

Do you believe you will have what you say? If so, what words are you allowing to come out of your mouth? For instance, how do you talk when you are in non–religious settings, around people who are not Christians? Do you evaluate your words, or do you just “shoot the breeze,” so you will not appear too “deep” to others?

I want you to take stock of your words, because whether you realize it or not, your life is the sum total of all the words you have spoken. Your words set the very tone for your life. In fact, so powerful are your words, that you can literally talk your way into victory or defeat.

Some of you may say, “It is not that serious. I have spoken a lot of things that have never come to pass.” But as I like to say, if you have been spared negative or tragic situations, it is because of the grace and mercy of God, and the power of intercession! Somewhere, God has somebody praying for you!

The reason your words carry so much weight is because you are created in the image and likeness of God Himself. Your words have creative power, just like God’s words. When you speak forth words you actually release a spiritual force like dynamite! That is how serious this thing is! If you have spoken negative words in the past, you can change the course of your life right now by speaking positive words.

Psalm 45:1 states “… my tongue is the pen of a skilful writer” (New International Version). This means when you speak words, you are writing them on your heart; and whatever is conceived in your heart will eventually come out of your mouth and manifest in your life.

Why am I hammering this point home so hard? Because the only way to change your life is to change the way you think and speak. Your mouth should be used as an instrument for life, not death. For blessing, not cursing.

To begin this process, take inventory of your words. How do you speak every day? Listen to yourself. If you constantly use perverse or negative words, repent. Make a course–correction by allowing faith in God’s Word to impact your speech. How do you develop faith in His Word? By confessing it, every single day. Also, make the decision to root out any sin that may be present in your life. Remember, you can say all the right things, but secret sin in your life will separate you from God. Be quick to forgive and quick to repent.

One of the reasons Jesus was so powerful when He walked the Earth, was because He only spoke faith–filled words. As a result, He experienced immediate manifestation when He spoke. This is why powerful, positive words are the blueprint for a changed life! Take heed to these practical truths and before long, you will be enjoying life and seeing good days!
